THE MAHARAJA SAYAJIRAO UNIVERSITY OF BARODA

MSU is the Abbreviation of the Maharaja Sayajirao University.

It is also known as a Baroda College.

It is a Public University. As per the name, the university is placed in Vadodara city of Gujarat State of India.

In 1881 the college was originally established. After that in 1949, it became the University.

Then it was renamed after its benefactor Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, the former ruler of Baroda State belongs the royal Gaekwad dynasty of the Marathas.

The Motto of the University is:

“Love of beauty, Goodness and Intellectual Curiosity.” In Hindi, it’s like - सत्यम  शिवम  सुन्दरम

Shubhangini Raje Gaekwad is the Chancellor of this State University.
